Miranda and Stuart

In just a few short weeks, Miranda and Stuart will have their first child. A little girl. I met up with the soon-to-be mom and dad earlier this month to take a maternity portrait while Miranda was in her last few weeks of pregnancy. It was a beautiful afternoon with beautiful weather and all the pictures turned out wonderfully.

The first few pictures we took were of Stuart and Miranda's hands reaching across her belly. These pictures are always fun to do and I think it's fun to look back on these to see what your belly looked like just before having a baby.


These next few pictures were in different spots in the park. I really like pictures of couples looking at each other instead of at the camera. There's something about how a couple looks at each other in the eye that has a certain draw for me.


We couldn't resist playing around on the playground equipment. We wanted to take it a little easy with Miranda, but Stuart was more adventurous for me...and I'm all about adding some adventure in the mix. :)


I really love these last couple pictures of Miranda. She's so beautiful in these and she looks so happy. I can't wait to meet her little girl!
