Caed, Courtney, and Brad

I've been friends with Courtney and Brad since Courtney was a freshmen at NC State and I was a sophomore, oh, so many years ago. :) It's been really great to see how our friendship has grown over the past 10 years.

Last year, Courtney and Brad had a little boy and named him Caedmon. We call him Caed. :)

I met up with Courtney, Brad, and Caed a few weeks ago to take some family pictures after Caed had turned 1. He is such a cute little guy and has gorgeous blue eyes and bright blond hair that sticks up in all directions. So cute.

The fearlessness on this little guy shows. He's also got a little scrape on his lip from a tumble he took a couple days before the pictures, but it's all good.

These first two pictures are of Caed after he's finished riding on his plastic John Deere. He's a true North Carolina man, he is.


I absolutely love this picture I got of Courtney and Caed. He's looking to the side (probably at Daddy), and he's got all of his trust in Mommy holding him up as he walks around without any doubt that she'll continue to be there for him. And Courtney looks like she couldn't be happier, walking around with her little man.

And yes, Courtney giving Caed a kiss on the cheek. Can't get any better than that. :)

These next few pictures are of Courtney, Brad, and Caed all goofing around together on the grass. These playful pictures together are always some of my favorites. :)

These last few pictures are from the swing set we found at the park. Caed was all about that swing. He loved it! I especially love this first picture of his eyes poking up above the bucket seat of the swing and then the last one with him laughing and Courtney smiling just behind him.
