Little Cali

Cali sure is growing up fast! She just turned 2 last fall and she's an amazingly adventurous little girl. I took some pictures of Cali last September at her house in Wake Forest and this time I met up with Cali and her mom & dad at Fred Fletcher Park in Raleigh. We had a fun afternoon exploring the park and playing on the swing set!

These first few pictures are of Cali just after we arrived at the park and she was checkin' things out. You'll see that her energy continued to build and build throughout the afternoon!


There's a wheelchair ramp at the Borden Building in the park and if you run up and down the ramp, you can get some great sound affects (as Cali quickly found out). Cali loves climbing on things and going up and down steps and ramps, so she had a blast playing on the wheelchair ramp!


I took this quick picture of Cali as we were walking over to the swing set. I love the way she's looking up at me and her hair blowing in the warm breeze.


As I walked with Cali over to the swing set, her mom told me it was her first time swinging! Knowing how Cali likes to climb things and she has essentially no fear, I knew right away she would love swinging...and I was right. She was thrilled and loved having her dad push her up into the air!


I was walking back up to the car with Cali and her parents. Cali went back up to the Borden Building and took a peak inside the front window. It was a really cute picture, so I couldn't resist. :)
